So I realize that not everyone is a huge fan of the "accent" nail trend, but I have gotten so many compliments on it. Yesterday, I had 3 out of 4 of my kiddos home, and I was trying to keep my daughter entertained. So she and I played around with painting our nails, and it was a blast. I happen to be a huge fan of essie nail polish, it is the brand I use the most, and what I recommend. To create this particular nail style, I used essie nail polish colors 'no place like chrome' and 'stylenomics'. To get just the tips of my nails painted, and to keep them even, I used what are called; hole savers. You can pick them up in the stationary section, at almost any store. These are not something that you need, but if you are like me and don't really have a steady hand, they work wonders. After I took this picture, my daughter, who is 3, insisted that I added a sparkle top coat. 1. apply your base coat (clear or color) 2. wait about 30 minutes for it to dry completely 3. apply the hole savers to the end of your nail (leaving the tip exposed) 4. apply your preferred color of nail polish 5. wait about 30 minutes for it to dry 6. remove the hole savers gently 7. and enjoy :) you can add a top coat so that you don't feel the ridge at the end This morning I had to sign my kiddos into school because they were sick yesterday, and the secretary commented on how much she loved my nail polish :) Then I went to Dunkin Donuts to grab an iced latte, and the Batistas behind the counter commented on them. So I am thinking that it is something that people would like. Let me know what your opinion is.

Check out my latest Sample and Share Product Review & Join Crowdtap There are many of "sampling" opportunities to be had through Crowdtap. I have been asked by several readers how it is that I get chosen. Let me tell you, it is not something that I spend a whole lot of my time on, but when I do participate in Crowdtap, I give thoughtful answers. Hosting a "sampling" doesn't usually happen within your first few months of being a member of Crowdtap, but there are those lucky few who are chosen early. Right now I am "sampling" the Cottonelle Clean Care Routine. I have always had a lot of great things to say about Cottonelle, it is our toilet paper of choice in our house.
